Getting Started

Getting started

How can getting started be such a big issue?   For me, I know one of the reason is being afraid of not being able to write in a way that I'm understood, not being politically correct or maybe not having all my theological ducks in a row. Every time I think like this I hear in my heart "IT DOESN'T MATTER!". I cannot count how many times I have heard that sentence in the last month.

Blogging is only one part of the Life Coaching Business that I'm starting in the next couple of months.
The start of a dream that I have had hidden in my heart for years. It's something I have been doing for many years, at school my nickname was NAN, not just because of my initials but I was always mothering or helping people through their issues. I have been involved in ministry for over 16 years and was a school Chaplain in Australia before starting an adventure of a lifetime with my husband at the beginning of this year.

This adventure has many opportunities attached to it - my husband's career, adventure, being stretched in trusting God with our children and life in Australia, traveling and for me specifically to be building into the dream of using my gifts to impact, to connect and to help others to live an abundant life, finding their passions and dreams and impacting their own world. It's a great time for me to be intentional, a hard time in dealing with being empty nesters, of being at home and learning new things and ways of doing things.

I received my certification in Life Coaching this year (2015), receiving the focused tools to use to help others and receiving the piece of paper of recognition for myself and the world.

And over the last month I have started working on my website, the content, the set up and the Blog.

I'm finding my feet and courage to type and write whatever I'm feeling to share, "It doesn't matter" what others may think, process, react or not react, understand or not understand, "it doesn't matter".

I want to share truthfully and honestly, connecting with my readers in sharing from my heart and thoughts. Also as the business grows, connecting with my readers and clients in a way to help them continue to grow in confidence in new skills and ideas, to build on what they learn and understand what it means to find peace within, to find joy within, to live a full life from within.

The Scriptures that I find helping me right now have been the ones that have been loud and clear from the very beginning of ministry and I found my memory card of the one just as I was beginning to start up the business and the other one I was reminded up from a Bible study I was doing in the first couple of weeks. God is so good, so gentle and so faithful.

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be dismayed for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not for I am with you; do not be afraid for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand.

May these Scriptures inspire you today, to be strong, to be courageous. That you know that your God will uphold you, that He will help you and He is with you wherever you go.

Thank you for joining me on the journey!
